You are invited to our annual (AANZPA) Open day

(AANZPA Australian & Aotearoa New Zealand Psychodrama Association)

Saturday September 27th

The morning will be an introduction and warm up to Morenian action methods of group work, this will be led by Paul Baakman and Sara Crane. In the afternoon there will be an opportunity to choose a workshop relevant to you.

Afternoon workshop options

The New Sociometry of Christchurch Leader: Simon Gurnsey

Everything about Christchurch has been shaken up, including our social networks. Some of these new configurations are invigorating and some just plain hard work. The workshop will give you a chance to investigate and make decisions about your current social system.

Surplus Reality Leader: Marcel Van Der Weeden
Any moment we can imagine can be brought to life on the psychodrama stage. This workshop will provide opportunities for participants to enact significant moments enabling us all to savour them and perhaps learn more about what they mean.

Kindness is an old fashioned virtue Leader: Jim Goodwin
We see kindness all around us and yet don’t often hear people talking about it: a neighbour welcoming the new tenant next door with a bunch of flowers; a workmate sharing their lunch; a driver slowing to let someone in from a side street. Kindness is part of the glue that creates a good society. We will have the chance to explore and enjoy our own experiences of kindness in action.
